We have an exciting opportunity for a Controller reporting to our Chief Financial Officer, working out of our Sudbury office.

Your primary responsibilities will include :

• Oversight of all accounting operations including billing, collections, cashflow management, accounts payable, and payroll to maximize return on financial assets.
• Developing and maintaining the company’s systems and processes for forecasting, budgeting and strategic analysis based on sophisticated financial modeling and analysis.
• Analytical support of strategic company decisions
• Strong competencies in identifying and analyzing key KPI’s
• Provide recommendations and effective solutions to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
• Timely and useful reporting of financial and operating results to management.
• Overseeing cost-control structure and financial policies
• Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with standards and applicable federal, provincial and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.

A successful candidate will have :

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation required.
• Experienced CPA with 5-8 years of experience, including public accounting and industry.
• Experience with advanced Excel modelling, data analysis, and advanced presentation skills. Ability to work with PowerBI will be considered an asset.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Detail orientated with an ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
• Bilingualism in French / English is an asset.
