The Position Purpose :
The Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud, supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store(s). They utilize tools to minimize loss, including identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring physical security, auditing Electronic Article Surveillance, and promoting a shrink elimination culture. Responsibilities also include preparing detailed case reports, preserving evidence, interacting with law enforcement, and testifying in court. The specialist must report hazards, minimize injury risks, demonstrate integrity, and support operational and asset protection concerns, aligning with store objectives.
