Role Summary

About The Role

As part of the Toolroom department, you will be you will be responsible for set-up and operation of various CNC Machines.

Your Responsibilities

Programming and set up of wire EDM machines and programming of CNC milling centers by preparing various materials from drawings

Perform PM’s and repairs to Co -Extrusion dies and machines as required

Verify conformance of components or tooling to specifications by checking dimensions, clearances and alignments, consistently working to close tolerances

Operate a variety of machine tools to cut, mill, and grind or otherwise machine work piece to prescribed dimensions and finish

Promote and comply with health, safety, and environmental standards, safe operating procedures, good housekeeping practices and the observance of protective equipment requirements at all times

Any other reasonable duty required by Management

Key Qualifications / Requirements

Who we are looking for

High School diploma or equivalent

Minimum 2 years related experience, preferably in a tooling environment.

Mathematical and mechanical aptitude

Good communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Your preferred qualifications

Extrusion related tool and die making experience preferred

Licensed Toolmaker, or completion of college level CNC and Wire EDM Programming
