We have X-Cart Developer Job openings for an X-Cart Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining e-commerce websites using the X-Cart platform.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create high-performance and visually appealing online stores that meet client and user requirements.

Your expertise in X-Cart development, customization, and integration will be essential in delivering exceptional e-commerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and customize X-Cart-based e-commerce websites to meet client specifications.
  • Implement and maintain the X-Cart platform, including updates and security patches.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for optimal website performance.
  • Design and customize responsive themes for X-Cart websites to enhance user experience and aesthetics.
  • Ensure the website’s look and feel align with the client’s brand and requirements.
  • Create custom modules and plugins to extend X-Cart’s functionality.
  • Integrate third-party modules and plugins as needed to enhance the e-commerce site’s features.
  • Manage and optimize the database structure to ensure data integrity and website speed.
  • Perform regular backups and implement data security measures.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in X-Cart websites.
  • Implement caching mechanisms, code optimizations, and server configurations for improved site speed.
  • Integrate payment gateways, shipping methods, and other e-commerce functionalities.
  • Ensure smooth order processing, inventory management, and customer data synchronization.
  • Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and quality assurance to ensure bug-free and stable websites.
  • Address and resolve any issues or bugs reported by clients or users.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all customizations, modules, and plugins.
  • Create user guides and training materials as necessary.
  • Collaborate with designers, front-end developers, project managers, and other team members to deliver projects on time and within scope.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members as needed.
  • Keep up-to-date with X-Cart platform updates, industry trends, and best practices in e-commerce development.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in X-Cart development, with a strong portfolio showcasing X-Cart projects.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce concepts and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce websites is a plus.
