Skilled Labor - Equipment Upgrade Shutdown 3-4 weeks

Do you have a valid forklift ticket and experience with industrial decommissioning and installation projects?

Are you looking for a project that runs throughout October?

If so, we'd love to hear from you! We are seeking 7 Skilled laborers for a turnaround project at a manufacturing plant in the Edmonton area.

This temporary position is expected to last 3-4 weeks, with a start date in early October.

Temporary project : 3-4 weeks, starting October 1st.

Schedule :

• 12-hour shifts i.e. 6 to 6
• Day and night shifts are available
• Night shift premium
• 6 days a week, OT after 44hrs. (28hrs of OT per week)
• Strong contributors can pick up additional hours

Responsibilities

Duties included are :

• Supporting tradesmen with various duties around decommissioning and installation of new equipment
• General laborer duties i.e. carrying materials, lifting of equipment, etc.
• Operating a forklift as needed
• Work with intention, drive, and detailed dedication to meet scope and schedule demands

Qualifications

What do you need for this position?

• Forklift / telehandler certification
• Fire watch
• MEWP / Fall arrest
• CSTS / WHMIS
• Reliability and strong organizational skills
• Have your own steel toes and hard hat
• Valid Class 5 license and own car to get to the site
• Able to meet all site health and safety requirements
