Our client, an established and credible Industrial manufacturing company, is currently looking for a Blown Film Extrusion Operator to join their Edmonton, AB team. The Extrusion Operator will be responsible for the production of plastic rolls for the packaging industry, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. They will work collaboratively as part of a team to optimize production while upholding quality and safety standards. The primary role involves operating, monitoring, and tuning blown film extrusion machinery, including pre-production setup and changeovers.
What you do :
- Safely operate a three-layer and / or mono-layer blown film extrusion system.
- Make adjustments to extruder settings to maximize productivity.
- Perform order changes as required.
- Ensure product quality and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Conduct continuous quality checks during production runs.
- Maintain a clean work environment to comply with food safety standards.
- Monitor machine performance and maintain output, quality, and waste targets.
- Perform multiple tasks autonomously within a manufacturing environment.
- Fulfill any other duties as assigned.
Who you are :
What we offer : Salary : $50,000 - $70,000
