About Qualicare Durham Region

Qualicare Durham Region is expanding its rehabilitation services under a new WSIB contract to support injured workers requiring in-home physiotherapy. Our model emphasizes functional recovery, safety, and timely return to work within a professionally governed, community-based program.

Role Summary

We are seeking experienced Physiotherapists to provide in-home WSIB rehabilitation services for injured workers who cannot attend outpatient clinics. This role focuses on mobility, strength, pain management, and functional independence using evidence-based interventions.

Key Responsibilities

Complete in-home PT assessments for WSIB clients

Deliver individualized, goal-oriented rehabilitation programs

Address mobility, strength, endurance, and pain management

Progress treatment plans within WSIB treatment blocks

Educate clients on self-management and recovery strategies

Complete WSIB-compliant documentation and reporting within timelines

Collaborate with RN assessors and interdisciplinary team members

Qualifications

Registered Physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario

Minimum 3 years clinical experience

Community, orthopedic, or rehab experience preferred

Strong documentation and organizational skills

Comfortable working independently in clients’ homes

Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

Compensation Model

Block-funded model : $1,000 per 8-visit treatment block

Equivalent to $55–60 / hour

Flexible caseload depending on referral volume
