Methods Coordinator

As a Methods Coordinator working in the Alternative Projects Center of Expertise (APEX) team at Pomerleau Construction, you will participate in the development of construction methods and the definition of temporary structures and oversee the production of the required drawings.

Working on large-scale construction projects - ranging from $ million to over $1 billion - you will provide technical support throughout the project.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate closely with the construction team to strategize and implement effective methods for the new roof installation of the Olympic Stadium.
• Develop precise specifications for temporary structures as needed, ensuring seamless coordination with suppliers.
• Create detailed operational procedures to verify feasibility, manage logistics, and prioritize worker safety.
• Coordinate with the construction team, consultants, and subcontractors to plan and execute project phases and site logistics.
• Provide expert technical guidance to ensure proper installation and adherence to established methods.
• Facilitate seamless collaboration with subcontractors to optimize project outcomes.
• Serve as a technical advisor, offering valuable insights to all project stakeholders.

This role could be for you if you have

• A bachelor's degree in civil or construction engineering.
• More than 5 years relevant work experience in civil engineering.
• Experience in team management.
• Excellent command of Autocad software.

Additional assets :

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Fluent in both official languages written and oral (English and French).
