Position Overview :
The Senior Sales Manager will drive sales growth by managing and expanding customer relationships within the luxury jewelry and diamond industry.
This role involves securing new business, overseeing inventory, and optimizing sales performance through strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create and present sales proposals to existing and prospective clients.
- Identify and pursue new business and retail opportunities.
- Manage inventory levels and visual merchandising based on sales reports.
- Process orders and quotes efficiently.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Provide personalized service and promote company products throughout the sales cycle.
- Achieve sales targets using innovative strategies.
- Utilize company systems for account management and growth.
- Educate customers on products and services.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Monitor competitor activities and build strong relationships with retailers and sales associates.
- Conduct market research and negotiate with customers.
- Maintain accurate sales records and address complaints.
- Collaborate with marketing, accounting, customer service, and production teams.
- Participate in inventory clean-ups and industry events.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications.
- At least 5 years of outside sales experience in the luxury jewelry or diamond industry.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Capacity to lift up to 30 lbs and travel across the US territory.
- Proven B2B and B2C sales track record.
