Responsibilities include :
Delivery of the Sensor Operator courses
Ensure that training delivered is consistent with training objectives and teaching points in the training plan, per applicable training standards
Reporting student progress, issues and deficiencies relative to the course delivery
Ability to work autonomously to tackle a broad scope of tasks and requirements
Ability to effectively deliver oral presentations to customers
Ability to deliver synthetic environment training using simulators and other tools
Ability to contribute to development of teaching aids and courseware
Ability to perform elementary maintenance tasks working on ladders, small spaces, and maneuvering heavy equipment
Ability to travel and work shifts / overtime when needed
Mandatory qualifications include :
Previous experience as a RCAF airborne electronic senior operator, air combat systems operator, or other similar trades
Formal training in Instructional Techniques
Familiar with quality standards, training plans, and training media used to ensure teaching points are met per Training Standards
Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen, a Permanent Resident or with a valid Work Permit
Capable of obtaining and maintaining both Controlled Goods Clearance and a Government of Canada level 1 security clearance
Physically able to perform manual labour tasks
Desirable qualifications include :
French language skills in order to be able to instruct in French
Previous Military experience as a traffic technician
Airbus 295 aircraft experience
Experience with authoring and amending multi-media instructional courseware
