Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a Global HRIS Manager to join our Global People Operations team. This position can be based in most GHD office locations in the US or Canada.

GHD supports a hybrid model.

In this diverse role you will :

  • Lead your team to foster a high performing, collaborative and inclusive team culture.
  • Project Manage the implementation and updates of any new systems / modules, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems including customization of modules to enhance functionality, user training, and addressing system issues and deficiencies.
  • Consult with the project sponsors to project manage the business requirements documents, develop project charters, work breakdown structures, project schedules and milestone plans, risk management, communication plans, issue logs and decision log.
  • Collaborate with other functions (IS / Finance) to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring system stability and reliability.
  • Act as the interface between business users and external system support teams, guiding the business on when system updates will occur and what impact these will have on the business processes.
  • Collaborate with vendors to address technical issues, implement updates, and optimize system functionality.
  • Establish and maintain data governance processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data.
  • Leverage data analytics to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making wiithin the HR function.
  • Implement and enforce robust security measures to safeguard HRIS data.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, making proactive recommendations for systems enhancements and upgrades.

What would you bring to the team?

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Information Technology, or related field with proven experience in a HRIS Leadership role.
  • A strong understanding of HR systems architecture with demonstrated advanced knowledge of Oracle and HR processes across the whole employee lifecycle including downstream systems would be advantageous.
  • Proven ability to solve technical configuration and data integration problems coupled with ability to communicate and influence across a diverse multi-cultural stakeholder group.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance
