Description
The Continuing Education Department of Champlain College Saint-Lambert requires the services of an HOURLY INSTRUCTOR to teach the course of SCRIPTWRITING & STORYBOARDING FOR VR (574-101-LA).
This course provides students with an introduction and ample practice in scriptwriting and storyboarding as they apply to VR / AR.
The development of immersive VR / AR experiences requires a very strong conceptual foundation that is initially produced through scriptwriting, storyboarding and concept sketches.
Using a project-based approach, students will produce several scripts, storyboards and concept sketches that would qualify as quality foundations for productions in VR, AR and 360 degree videos.
Required Qualifications : Must have thorough knowledge of virtual, augmented and mixed realtiy technologies, including 360 degree videos.
Should have a master's degree in media studies with a minimum of 2 years' experience in the development
and deployment of VR / AR / MR / 360 experiences, simulations and tools or a bachelor's degree in a related field
with a minimum of 4 years' experience in the development and deployment of VR / AR / MR / 360 experiences, simulations and tools.
Experience teaching an adult clientele in a similar program is an asset.
