The Opportunity :
PTW is hiring an Industrial Painter to join our team in Calgary, AB! This is a casual position up to 44 hours per week with an afternoon start time.
Must be local to the Calgary area or within commuting distance, or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities - Industrial Painting :
- Operates paint equipment and utilizes supplies. Mixes and applies basic and industrial paint as per specifications.
- Measures paint thickness as per specifications.
- Inspects final product, ensuring conformance to specifications.
- Performs daily maintenance and minor repairs of painting equipment.
- Masks skids for sandblasting and painting. Cleans and prepares skids for painting. Packages skids for shipping.
- Performs rigging techniques as per industry standards.
- Operates forklift and overhead cranes to transfer skids and packages throughout shop.
Requirements :
- Minimum 2 years' experience painting and / or sandblasting in an industrial capacity.
- Previous experience with water based, epoxy paint and primer mixing requirements an asset.
- Previous experience with rigging and overhead cranes is an asset.
- Valid forklift certification is an asset.
- Must have own transportation as facility is not accessible by public transportation.
- Must have CSA approved safety boots
- Must be authorized to work in Canada.
