The Opportunity
The Hairdresser provides high quality and safe contracted services on behalf of Carewest to residents on-site in our facilities.
The position is required to provide hair salon services to long term care and cognitively complex residents.
The service provider is responsible to :
- Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests
- Provide kind and compassionate service and meets or exceeds all customer service goals
- Adhere to Carewest and IP&C guidelines, standards and policies
- Provide hair salon services such as cuts, colors, perms, and rollers
The service provider may have the opportunity to provide services at other Carewest sites.
Qualifications and Experience
- Interprovincial Trades Certificate (Canada Red Seal)
- Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Exposure to health-care environments, specifically long-term care
- Experience working with dementia clients or other vulnerable populations
- Appropriately licensed & insured to provide business services within the City of Calgary
