We're looking for someone who can expertly navigate blueprints and specifications, build strong relationships, and contribute to our continued success.

What You'll Do :

As our Commercial Estimator, you'll be the financial architect of our projects, responsible for the following key areas :

• Cost Analysis & Estimation : Prepare comprehensive estimates for commercial construction projects. This includes accurately calculating probable costs for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracts based on contract bids, quotations, schematic drawings, and detailed specifications.
• Tendering & Bidding : Advise on effective tendering procedures, meticulously examine and analyze incoming bids, recommend tender awards, and lead contract negotiations to secure the best value.
• Process Optimization : Establish, maintain, and continuously improve our tendering processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Cost Control & Reporting : Develop and implement robust cost monitoring and reporting systems. You'll prepare regular cost and expenditure statements and forecasts throughout the project lifecycle to keep stakeholders informed.
• Resource Management : Maintain and expand our comprehensive directory of trusted suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring we always have access to reliable partners.
• Collaboration & Communication : Act as a key liaison, consulting and communicating effectively with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders. You'll also prepare economic feasibility studies for proposed changes or adjustments to cost estimates.
• Project Coordination (as needed) : Depending on project scope, you may assist in managing and coordinating aspects of construction projects and preparing detailed construction progress schedules.
