Responsibilities
- Mount and position tools in machine chuck, spindle, or other tool holding device to specification, using hand tools
- Inspect or measure workpieces, using measuring instruments (gauges, micrometers)
- Ensure proper machine set up and parameters
- Properly align drilling tool with steel cylinder to ensure precise and efficient drilling process.
- Follow to parameters based on different type of drilling method
- Apply and ensure all health, safety and environment rules and procedures
Qualifications
- Have an interest in manual labor and / or experience in a manual labor role
- The ability to : stand; walk; reach; etc
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- A dynamic and professional approach
- DEP as machinist is a plus!
- Great manual dexterity and steady hands while manipulating tools
