Position : Service Buyer
Location : Laval
Salary : $60,000
Employment Type : Full-time, Permanent, 40 hours per week
In collaboration with the Purchasing Department team and specifically for the needs of the Service Department in Laval, the Service Buyer manages purchases, orders, and returns according to the company's inventory and current needs.
You will perform the necessary follow-ups to ensure the efficient availability of materials.

Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities :
- Make purchases for technicians and inventory, while verifying product prices, availability, associated transport costs, and economic lot sizes to consider.
- Use your autonomy to process recommendations from technicians, prepare and ensure good management of quotations and client follow-ups.
- Employ your communication and relationship management skills to maintain good contacts with clients and suppliers, while providing excellent customer service.
- Plan and perform various follow-ups, as well as handle merchandise return requests in an organized manner.
- Be capable of replacing the warehouse clerk and performing their tasks if necessary, in their absence or as needed.
- Perform other related tasks.
Qualifications
Requirements :
- A minimum of two years of experience in supply management and purchasing, as well as knowledge in industrial refrigeration.
- A valid and up-to-date driver's license.
- Familiarity with M365 and Maestro software tools.
- Ability to communicate easily in both English and French, orally and in writing, as we have clients across Canada and the United States.
