The Opportunity :

Postmedia is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to fill the temporary full-time position of Distribution Coordinator.

Summary :

The Distribution Coordinator, reporting to the Distribution Manager, is responsible for coordination of any products under the Distribution Services umbrella.

Duties :

• Communicating and directing delivery contractors
• Coordination and resolution of field issues with production & packaging
• Coordinate FDSA accreditation process
• Collaborate with advertising, IT, packaging and other departments, as needed
• Coordinating route and trucking realignments to fit market needs
• Coordination of distribution supplies and related documents
• Maintaining database for Community flyer boxes
• Maintaining KPI statistics
• Required to be available in field during disaster or major production incidents to ensure department service requirements are met
• Special projects assigned by the Distribution Manager
• Provides in-field support on execution of new layered products
• Assist Distribution Manager in achieving departmental goals
• Complete tasks assigned in a timely manner
