Senior Manager/Manager - Experienced Public Practice CPA

We are looking for a manager or senior manager with public practice experience to commence permanent employment as soon as possible.

We are a firm of Chartered Professional Accountants with a current team of twenty, based in beautiful Kamloops, with the best of BC in our backyard.

We want you to grow with us while being appreciated and enjoy where you work. The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $120,000, individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program and there is ownership potential for the right candidate.

Are you the right fit?

The ideal candidate would have management experience in a public practice environment and be proficient in engagement planning and management.

Assurance management experience, quality control review experience and experience preparing and or reviewing corporate and personal tax returns would be considered assets.

An attention to detail and strong organizational skills are a must and the successful candidate will be adept at time management, balancing workflow, and meeting individual and team-based deadlines.

They will possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. They will be a team player and an effective manager while still being able to function with minimal oversight.

A chartered professional accountant designation is required, along with five or more years of public practice experience.

Primary responsibilities will be dependent on the specific candidate however it will generally entail the planning, review, and managing the execution of Notice to Reader and Assurance Engagements as well as the review and (at times) preparation of personal, trust and corporate tax returns along with managing the respective client relationships related thereto.
