The City of Lethbridge, Public Operations Department, Transportation Section, is accepting applications for non-permanent seasonal-term labourers for the 2024 Spring / Summer season.
WAGE : $20.50 per hour (2022 rate)
TERM : Starting beginning of April for approximately 5-6 months
As a valued part of our amazing Transportation Operations team, you will get to be involved in a variety of streets and roads related duties.
Under the direction of our foreman or coordinator, you will have the opportunity to be involved in all labour related aspects of our work!Your duties will include (but not limited to) : asphalt raking / shoveling, tool clean-up and traffic sign set-up.

- Bonus Points Prior related experience in a Transportation Operations environment or outside labourer setting will be an asset.
To be considered you MUST :
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have a valid, unrestricted Class 5 Operator’s license with no more than 5 demerit points (GDL Licenses will not be considered)
- You must submit a 5-year commercial driver's abstract (no older than 30 days) with your application to be considered for this opportunity.
