Job Title : Electrical Technician

Job Summary :

The Electrician Technician will work on installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in an industrial environment. Under the supervision of senior electricians, the Electrician Technician will ensure that electrical systems are functioning efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Installation : Electrical systems, equipment, and wiring according to blueprints, technical specifications, and safety standards.
• Maintenance and Repairs : Help troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems, machinery, and components to ensure reliable operation.
• Routine Inspections : Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues and ensure they meet safety regulations and standards.
• Troubleshooting : Work with senior electricians to diagnose electrical faults and assist in repairs or system upgrades.
• System Testing : Conduct tests on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure functionality, accuracy, and safety.
• Safety Compliance : Follow and adhere to all company safety guidelines, protocols, and Ontario regulations while working on electrical systems or performing maintenance.
• Documentation : Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used. Ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards.
• Equipment Handling : Use and maintain tools, machines, and equipment in accordance with safety and operational guidelines.
• Collaboration : Work closely with other team members, such as maintenance personnel, engineers, and supervisors, to ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems within the plant or facility.
• Learning and Development : Continuously improve electrical knowledge and skills, staying updated on industry best practices and new technologies.

Required Qualifications :

Basic understanding of electrical systems and their components.
