Join AZAD as a Business Systems Analyst and provide data science support to analyze, process and model data and interpret the results to develop data-driven solutions and provide visibility to critical data metrics that will impact decisions for planning, development, integration, and implementation of state-of-the-art technologies, methods, and standards for interim and long-term solutions for an asset management organization.
This analyst will provide data services and reporting (e.g. database administration and data integration including backup and recovery, database design, data integrity and monitoring) as well as implementation and improvement of systems.
This is a 2 years plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is hybrid in Vancouver, WA with onsite 1-2 days weekly.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $60.00 - $67.00 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package.
The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree or higher education in mathematics, computer science, machine learning, statistical methods, or closely related field is required.
- 8 years of experience with the following is required :
- Manipulating data sets
- Using Web Services
- Querying databases
- Coding knowledge and experience with several languages.
- Developing data models and algorithms.
Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
Demonstrated knowledge of computer languages including, but not limited to, Java, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), and proficiency with Power Query Language (M) and SQL.
Demonstrated ability to customize elements of statistics, machine learning, optimization, signal processing, text retrieval, and natural language processing to analyze data and interpret results in order to solve problems of a complex nature.
Demonstrated ability to take vaguely defined goals and translate them to problems that can be addressed with data-driven analysis.
Demonstrated ability to communicate and present proposals, findings, and recommendations, both written and orally, to senior staff, executives, and external parties (e.
g., key stakeholders, customers, industry organizations, or regulators).
5 years of experience in the following :
- Generating reports from various data repositories.
- Utilizing Excel, including pivot tables, charting, and reporting.
- Automating with VBA.
1 year experience using Power BI, including ability to write Data Analysis Expressions (DAX).
