Job Description
This role requires some light lifting and the ability tooperate equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes in afabrication shop setting.
NOTE : this is NOT a warehouse job.
KeyResponsibilities :
Load andunload trucks using a forklift : up to 40 lengths of pipe steeletc.
Organise and moveinventory around the yard : process skids pressure vesselsetc.
Assist with generalshop duties asneeded
Conduct regularinspections of equipment to ensure properfunctioning
Adhere to safetyprotocols and maintain a clean workenvironment
RequiredQualifications :
Previous experience moving large / longloads is an asset : structural steel pipe process skids pressurevessels.
Must have aforklift ticket
Mechanicalknowledge to troubleshoot equipmentissues
Ability to performlight lifting and physical tasks throughout theday
Strong attention todetail and organisationalskills
Ability to workindependently and as part of ateam
Excellent communicationskills
