The company has experience in various asset classes of real estate which include residential, mixed use, purpose-built rental, senior living facilities and commercial.

Their portfolio of completed projects has a market value of nearly $400 million, with an additional $3 billion currently under development or going through the entitlement process.

This includes the highly anticipated Columbia Square mixed-use development and the 2,200-unit master-planned community in Port Moody : Portwood.

The first two phases of Portwood are currently under construction.

As Project Manager you will be tasked with managing a new residential project in Langley, BC as well as assisting in the management of Portwood, EDGAR’s new master planned community in Port Moody.

EDGAR utilizes the services of external General Contractors to manage the construction of their projects, and this will therefore be an owner’s representative project management position.

You will provide overall management, administration, and technical direction to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of the project.

This will include working with internal and external stakeholders through conceptual design to define project requirements and feasibility, development and management of project budget, schedule, quality and sustainability standards, and planning of the design process and procurement strategy.

You will interact closely with external consultant and construction management partners and you will gain exposure to all aspects of development management and thus the position represents an excellent opportunity for a PM to broaden their skillset and to continue to develop professionally.

EDGAR are looking for an intelligent and dynamic individual who is ready to take on the challenge of executing the Portwood Development plan and managing EDGAR’s first project in Langley.

You have a minimum of 5(+) years of construction management experience in Metro Vancouver. Ideally this person will be from a General Contracting background but candidates from a Developer will also be considered.

You will have a proven track record of managing multifamily projects start to finish. You are comfortable leading diverse teams of design and construction professionals through the design, preconstruction, and construction phases.

Having experience working in collaborative, design-assist environments considered an asset.
