As a Site foreman at Conroy Custom Homes, you will embody our core values and contribute to our mission of tailoring beautiful, lasting, custom homes for our clients.

You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

From precise execution of tasks to proactive communication and progress-driven thinking, you will uphold our standards of excellence in every aspect of your work.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Ability to preform a wide range of carpentry tasks from concrete, framing, exterior cladding, to finishing carpentry, flooring install etc.
  • Execute tasks with precision and attention to detail, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project plans and specifications
  • Adhere to proper paperwork procedures. Complete and submit all necessary paperwork actually and promptly.
  • utilize and maintain structured to-do list and job site schedule with critical path.
  • Ensure jobsite is stocked with necessary required material.
  • Maintain open communication with Project Manager regarding progress and any issues encountered.
  • General Maintain a professional appearance both personally and at job sites, representing the company with pride and professionalism.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continual education and improvement, staying updated on new techniques, products, and technologies relevant to the carpentry industry.
  • Conduct yourself with professionalism and respect manor.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and project manager, ensuring clarity and accuracy in all interactions.
  • Thrive in high-pressure situations, rising to the occasion and delivering exceptional results under challenging circumstances.
  • Demonstrate dependability by showing up on time, following through on commitments, and supporting your team members as needed.
  • Drive progress by thinking ahead, setting goals, and actively seeking opportunities to improve processes and outcomes.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5+ years of proven carpentry experience.
  • familiar with and able to effectively navigate Alberta Building Code
  • Proficiency in carpentry techniques, tools, and materials, with a focus on delivering precise, high-quality workmanship.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Dedication to continuous learning and improvement, with a proactive approach to staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
