S&C is continuing to grow. Where do you come in? We are looking for talented Material Handlers to work various shifts. This opportunity is for you if you have a passion for innovation and in your field of expertise, enjoy working as part of a team and is committed to helping us become a leader in our industry.

• Day shift is 40hrs / wk (Monday - Friday; 6 : 30am - 3pm),
• Afternoon shift is 40hrs / wk (Monday - Thursday; 4pm - 2 am)

As a Material Handler you will be responsible for :

• Movement, protection, storage and control of materials and products throughout manufacturing
• Servicing internal customers to support production operations
• 80% manual labor, 20% forklift operation
• Picking and packing items into appropriate stock locations
• Movement of parts and material in order to meet production timelines
• Safely operating a Tugger, lift trucks, overhead cranes and other material handling equipment
• Load vans and flatbed trailers using electric and propane powered lift trucks

Who are we looking for? Someone who has

• A High school diploma
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
• Certified on lift trucks including stand up electric forklift, stand up electric reach truck for indoor use as well as propane counterbalance forklifts for outdoor use
• Experience with stacking pallets, loading / unloading trucks, order picking
• Good communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Team player with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift up to 22 lbs.
• Knowledge of Kanban process (considered an asset)
