Responsibilities

What will you be doing?

• You will be building industrial mixers and pumps from blueprints
• Performing complex mechanical and electrical assemblies
• Assembling large rotating equipment and parts onto their mounts
• Completes fit-up, welding, grinding, deburring, and polishing operations
• Using hand and power tools, overhead cranes and blow torches
• Perform quality checks and testing as building machinery
• Utilizing computer programs to document process and inventory
• Maintaining operating equipment on a weekly basis

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 2 years experience with assembly and building of equipment
• Familiarity with Duplex, Ni-hard, Alloy 20 a plus
• Mechanically savvy, with exposure to working on; impellers, motors, gearboxes, pumps, rotating equipment, shaft alignment, etc. an asset
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Able to weld, inspect and make part modifications when needed
• Computer savvy, able to learn new programs
• Effective communicators to coordinate between departments
