Seeking a live in house manager i

We are a family of 4 (plus one senior and very sweet dog) looking for a live in house manager starting in August 2024

About us :

• We are an active family with one 4 year girl starting French immersion kindergarten this year and one baby boy, turning 1 in October
• Mum and dad are both hands on parents but both work full time (partially from home) so need someone to join our team to help raise two awesome humans while also helping to keep our house running
• We have an 11 year old dog (doodle cross) who is great with the kids and loves companionship

What we are looking for in a candidate :

An energetic and collaborative individual who will help provide a nurturing environment for our little ones with the following anticipated schedule :

oMon Wed : care for our son during the day (including swim class, baby circle, library etc.) & school pick up for our daughter

oThurs : daycare and school pick up for our son and daughter

oSun : care for our son & daughter in the early afternoon

• Someone who is creative and able to do fun activities with kids (ex. Music, art, sports, phonics etc.). Must be a confident swimmer as we have a swimming pool
• Able to do housework, including laundry and changing beds
• Able to do grocery shopping, meal prep and kitchen clean up
• Ok with dogs, including short walks around the neighbourhood
• Someone who speaks French and English (Spanish would be a bonus)
• Comfortable riding an e bike with kids and has a valid driving license
• Has an up to date police check, vaccinated, CPR & first aid (or willing to do it if we cover the costs)

What we offer :

• Warm and supportive family environment. You would be part of our crew!
• Minimum 30 hours per week. Additional hours to be agreed
• Starting salary $18 per hour (to be discussed based on experience) with food provided while on shift
• Studio apartment with separate washroom and kitchenette. Room & board deduction within provincial allowance
