Position Summary
The successful incumbent will be responsible for wet and dry mopping, washroom cleaning, vacuuming, machine scrubbing, changing cubicle drapes, laundry and garbage collection, equipment cleaning, waste and recycle removal, restocking and other duties. Individuals will also be trained to do discharge and isolation cleaning of patient rooms. Floor buffing, burnishing and refinishing, wall washing, vent light and ceiling cleaning will be completed according to established schedules. They will also be responsible for cleaning patient rooms, common areas and washrooms, contributing to ensuring a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.
