As a Senior Advisor, Workforce Planning Growth working in the Talent, Culture & Leadership team at Pomerleau Construction, you will play a pivotal role on identifying workforce risks and issues which may affect future demand as well as making sure there is full visibility on talent capacity to get ahead of the talent acquisition curve.

As a strategic thinker, you will provide sound advice and leadership on human resources initiatives and planning based on workforce intelligence.

What You Will Do

  • Offer insight to guide operational decisions regarding staffing levels.
  • Your sharp eye will be capable of identifying deviations in metrics and recommending action plans in collaboration with HR.
  • You'll be at the source of the development of resource plans accounting for various factors.
  • Be the mastermind that evaluates initiatives / projects on capacity and workload.
  • You play a crucial role in ensuring the visibility on talent need for HR and Talent Acquisition teams.
  • Lead the process of developing and executing strategies that align staffing levels with business needs.
  • Your use of historical data and market trends will be unparalleled in accurately forecasting the workforce.
  • You will monitor and develop KPIs related to workforce management to meet service-level goals.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management and ensure that issues are raised and addressed in a timely manner.

This role could be for you if you have

  • 5 to 10 years of demonstrated experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining forward-looking capacity plans including recommended hiring decisions and identification of skilling bottlenecks.
  • Direct experience in project management and building and managing relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • The ability to operate and succeed in an abstract and fast changing environment, and to effectively present complex data adapted to a variety of audiences.
  • Bilingualism in French and English, both oral and written to communicate with stakeholders across Canada.
