Job Summary :
The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining accurate data into computer systems and databases.
The role requires a high level of attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and a strong understanding of data confidentiality.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in data management software and possess excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and update data into databases, spreadsheets, and other systems.
- Review data for discrepancies or errors and resolve any data-related issues.
- Maintain data integrity by ensuring the completeness and accuracy of all records.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and data analysis as needed.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of all data.
- Perform regular backups and data preservation tasks.
- Follow procedures for data entry and data management.
- Communicate with team members to ensure accurate data processing.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); additional certification in data entry or a related field is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and data management software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
