Our client is a mid-sized, full service law firm located in downtown Vancouver and they are seeking a Senior Corporate Paralegal to join their corporate services department.

Responsibilities will include :
- Preparing corporate documentation for BC and Federal entities
- Assisting lawyers with tax driven transactions including the preparation of closing agendas and legal documentation
- Preparing and filing documentation for creation of and / or updating of partnerships, limited partnerships, business names and extra-provincial registrations across Canada
- Assembling documentation for BC societies and federal not-for-profit corporations
- Alterations to share structure and articles
- Preparing dividend documentation
- Redemptions, Repurchases and all other share transactions;
- Changes of Directors and Offices
- Conducting records book reviews
- Preparing documents to correct records book deficiencies
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of experience
- Completion of a Paralegal program is an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent document drafting skills;
- A strong work ethic and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently with minimal instruction and guidance
- Solid knowledge of ALF corporate database
The average salary for this position is $, per annum and is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Also provided is a suite of benefits, including an RRSP Matching Program.
