This position will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our facility by effectively screening inbound and outbound trucks at the gatehouse.
If you are a highly responsible individual with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment.
Our ideal candidate will possess :
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License and First AID / CPR
- Proven experience in security, preferably in a gatehouse or similar setting
- Excellent Communication Skills, observation and attention to detail skills.
- Takes Pride in Delivering Outstanding Customer Service
- Comfortable with Radio Communication
- Able to Write Reports on Job-Related Activities
- Keen Eye for Observing Exterior and Interior Premises
- Access Control Experience
- Approaches a Situation with a Listening Mindset
- Mature Attitude Towards Executive Protection
- Ability to walk / stand 12-hour shifts providing proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents
- Must be comfortable performing gatehouse duties, including inspecting trailers.
Pay Rate : $17.20 - $18.20
Location - Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa - Durham Region, ON
