Answering to the Chief and Council your Key Responsibilities will be :
- Planning & Events : Manage and develop plans for processing and implementation, bid depository, regional meetings, AGM, conventions, and events.
- Industry Initiatives : Lead public committees, workshops, education, and training programs.
- Communications & Marketing : Oversee communications, marketing, and lobbying efforts.
- Strategic Planning : Collaborate with the board on 3-year strategic plans and annual operational plans.
- Financial Oversight : Prepare quarterly financial statements, annual budgets, and revenue projections.
- Organizational Development : Ensure efficient organizational structure, operational continuity, and effective leadership.
- Human Resources : Empower, mentor, and motivate employees, consultants, and volunteers.
- Community Engagement : Act as a media spokesperson, enhance market awareness, and engage with volunteers and the community.
Requirements :
- Proven leadership, motivation, and visionary skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and human relations skills.
- Strong understanding of revenue generation and financial management.
- Minimum 5 years of direct experience.
- Post-secondary education or training.
- Experience with First Nations organizations is an asset.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the region.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
What we are offering :
- Competitive Salary of $110,000 to $130,000 depending on experience.
