Operations Administrator - Saint John, NB

Killam Apartment REIT (TSX : ), is a growth-oriented real estate investment trust which owns, manages and develops multi-family residential properties in Atlantic Canada, Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia.

Killam is focused on maximizing its value and long-term profitability through increasing earnings, expanding the portfolio through acquisitions, and developing high-quality properties in its core markets.

We are currently searching for an experienced, professional and customer focused Operations Administrator to support our Operations team in Saint John, NB.

Responsibilities :

• Answer and redirect maintenance calls;
• Issue all Purchase Orders for work orders, and help monitor work orders;
• Create change orders;
• Create health and safety PPE orders;
• Track vehicle service;
• Submit mileage for staff as needed;
• Assist with tracking of insurance claims;
• Invoicing;
• Other administrative reports and duties as required.

Qualifications :

• Must have strong administrative training and background, with over 2 years’ experience;
• Must have excellent knowledge of Microsoft office tools, high level of Excel competency;
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently and / or as part of a team;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment;
• Keen focus on internal and external client satisfaction and process improvement;
• Prior property management experience would be an asset;
• Knowledge of Yardi would be an asset or similar capital processing system.
