Project Coordinator

Project Coordinator Our client is looking for a Project Coordinator based in Saint John, New Brunswick, to assist in various administrative and technical aspects of the coordinating and HR base resources. They execute Industrial Rescue and Safety services throughout New Brunswick. By joining the team, you'll be part of some of the largest Shut Down Projects in Saint John. Job Summary : The Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that construction projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. This individual will work closely with the Job Planner(s) to assist in the coordination and execution of project tasks, manage communication between teams, track progress, and troubleshoot challenges as they arise. The Project Coordinator is instrumental in creating project timelines, ensuring that teams are on track with deliverables, and maintaining smooth project operations across various workspaces. Key Responsibilities :
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, time tracking and coordination to ensure timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met
- Track project progress, identify risks or delays, and support mitigation efforts
- Maintain accurate, organized project documentation and prepare Field Tickets for stakeholders
- Communicate project updates, risks, and issues to internal and external stakeholders
- Support the Project Manager with scheduling, task tracking, and day-to-day administrative needs
- Coordinate with cross-functional team members, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and smooth execution
- Proactively identify and help resolve project issues and roadblocks
- Support overall workflow and remove obstacles to keep projects moving forward
- Support Forepersons in the field.
- Conduct interviews, new employee onboarding and orientation sessions
- Assist with recruitment efforts by posting job openings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews
- Coordinate employee training and orientation programs
