Sales Representative

Our client, a well-established manufacturer of food packaging is currently looking for a Sales Rep to grow the market in Ontario and Central US.

They specialize in plastic film and bags, woven polypropylene bags, coated and laminated materials, and paper packaging.

The role will be growing the market while selling to food manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• Developing new business with food manufacturers
• Ensuring that relationships are developed and fostered to close business
• Keeping up to date on industry trends, advancements, etc.
• Regular preparation and maintenance of sales data in their CRM

Qualifications

• Post-secondary Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in B2B sales (Experience working within manufacturers)
• Similar industry experience an asset - Packaging and experienced selling to food manufacturers
• Strategic thinker as well as a tactical executer
• Strong communication skills, analytical skills, business acumen, and knowledge
• Exemplary relationship building, relationship management skills, ability to build trust with internal stakeholders and provide a positive influence
• Passion and drive for results
