Who are we looking for?

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Branch Manager directs and manages all branch activities in order to achieve goals and targets.

The ideal candidate should be excited about building a great team and establishing an excellent rapport with new and existing clients.

We are looking for a natural leader who knows what it takes to guide a team to success. The successful candidate will value teamwork, transparency, and accountability above all else.

Responsibilities :

  • Accountable for managing the branch budget; ensure good purchasing procedures are in place and upheld.
  • Ensure that all personnel understand the company mission and objectives and work towards that common goal.
  • Ensure that all personnel have the right tools, information, and knowledge to work effectively, serve our clients, and uphold the company objectives.
  • Enforce safe working practices and know the necessary procedures to take if accidents do occur.
  • Ensure that all branch personnel understand the overall company objectives as well as their individual departmental objectives and that they work together to achieve them.
  • Be available to help resolve conflicting objectives. Reinforce continuously respectful communication between all departments.
  • Prepare appropriate annual, monthly, and weekly plans and ensure that each person understands how they fit into those plans.
  • Set reasonable goals with deadlines for completion and monitor compliance with such plans and achievement of such deadlines.
  • Work alongside Human Resources to ensure that the most qualified applicants are hired for open positions.
  • Set an example by following all company procedures and policies.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsible for driving sales utilizing salespeople that report to you directly.
  • Responsible for the entire branch P&L.
  • Carry out managerial responsibilities including but not limited to : interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work;

appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 2-3 years leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of Landscaping, Construction, and commercial snow removal or related field.
  • Extreme customer focus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, adaptability, and flexibility.
  • Well organized, detail-oriented, numbers-oriented, with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude towards work.
  • Strengths in decision making and sound judgment.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results focused.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
