• Term Position – Up to 2 years

Located on Vancouver Island, the City of Campbell River offers a rare combination of a welcoming small‑town feel with large‑city amenities. Role

As part of the integrated Development Engineering team, you will work in a fast‑paced and customer focused environment. Reporting to the Development Engineering Supervisor, you will be actively involved in a variety of technical tasks in all aspects of municipal operations systems including general department inquiries and correspondence; responding to BC One Calls; investigating municipal statutory rights of way; reviewing and approving various engineering permits; drawing reviews related to building permit applications; and performing field inspections as required.

What we offer

The rate of pay for this CUPE bargaining unit position is $41.07 per hour, based on a 40‑hour work week. This position is eligible for flexible work arrangements which may include one of the following : compressed work week, earned day off or varied hours.
