Quality and Inventory Control - Manufacturing

The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, and have experience maintaining accuracy with inventory levels.

Duties include coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials between departments, within this plastic manufacturing environment.

• $65,000 - $75,000 annually based on experience

Responsibilities

Examine documents, materials and products and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness,

accuracy and conformance to standards and specifications

Conduct root cause analyses of non-conformance incidents; develop tracking systems for non-

conformance and implement corrective actions.

Record production data, including volume produced consumption of raw materials and quality control

measures.

• Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands
• Review work orders to determine material requirements and material priorities
• Collaborate with management, sales representatives and production when required on schedules due to

design changes, material shortages or other interruptions

• Read basic specs / drawings and check for scale
• Read a tape measure / caliper
• Quality control on parts that are coming off the machine as well as received

Qualifications

• 3+ years inventory control experience
• Previous experience in a QC role
• Certificate in Quality Assurance or Quality Control an asset
• Previous experience in a manufacturing / production environment
• Good time management skills
• Ability to work independantly
