We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled VirtualizationSystems Administrator to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for :
- Design, deploy, and maintain a large-scalevirtualization infrastructure built on Linux KVM and Apache CloudStack.
- Perform routine monitoring, maintenance, patching, and troubleshooting of the existing VMware vSphere and vCenter environmentto ensure its stability and performance.
- Administer and maintain company and customer WindowsServer environments.
- Deploy, manage, and maintain Virtual DesktopInfrastructure (VDI) environments, ensuring optimal performance and userexperience.
- Support and maintain VoIP infrastructure andrelated communication platforms.
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise serverand storage hardware, including Dell servers and various SANs.
- Monitor system capacity and performance across bothKVM and VMware platforms, proactively identifying and resolvingbottlenecks.
- Automate infrastructure management tasks throughscripting.
- Act as a senior escalation point for complexissues, providing advanced troubleshooting for both the virtualizationsoftware and the underlying physical hardware (servers, storage,networking).
- Develop and maintain clear, comprehensivedocumentation for system configurations and operational procedures.
- Assist in planning and executing backup,high-availability (HA), and disaster recovery (DR) strategies for theentire virtual environment.
- Actively look for opportunities to improve systemand application efficiencies.
- Other tasks and dutites as required.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need :
Hands-on technical experience with Linux KVM asa hypervisor in an enterprise setting.Strong experience in the administration andmaintenance of a VMware vSphere environment, including vCenter, ESXi hosts,vSAN and distributed switches.Strong, demonstrable experience with cloudorchestration platforms, with a significant preference for Apache CloudStack.Proficient in Linux and Windows Serveradministration, including OS installation, patching, performance monitoring,and system troubleshooting.Hands-on experience with deploying and managing VDI solutions (VMware Horizon, Citrix, etc.).Experience supporting and troubleshooting VoIPphone systems and infrastructure.Proven experience installing, configuring, andmanaging enterprise-grade hardware, including Dell rack-mount / blade servers andStorage Area Networks (SANs) from various vendors.Solid understanding of networking principles asthey relate to a virtualized environment (e.g. VLANs, software-definednetworking).Experience with project-based work such as majorinfrastructure upgrades and data center or virtual machine migrations.Other tasks and duties as required.Qualifications :
Collegediploma or university degree in the field of computer science and / or 4years equivalent work experience.Certificationsthat include ITIL, VMWare and RedHat are valued along with Fortinet NSE4 (andabove).What you’ll enjoyabout SIMNET :
