- Security Level : OPP Level 2
Key Requirements :
- Experience : 5+ years as a systems analyst in 24 / 7 critical environments, PSRN projects, and emergency health services.
- Technical Skills : Expertise in integrated 911 solutions, CAD, GIS, paging systems, and telephony (e.g., Avaya). Proficiency in LAN, server management, VHF / UHF radios, and P25 standards.
- Knowledge : Familiarity with Ambulance Act, ITIL practices, and emergency services (police, fire).
- Travel : Must be able to travel to multiple dispatch centers across Ontario.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and manage integrated 911 systems, including CAD, radio, GIS, and satellite communications.
- Provide technical support for ambulance dispatch equipment and emergency activation plans.
- Analyze business requirements and implement IT solutions aligned with health services operations.
- Ensure compliance with public sector policies and maintain emergency communication interoperability.
