Job Summary
Scottsdale Community College is seeking a Student Services Technician (Part-Time).
The Temp Level 2 (Student Services Technician) in the Financial Aid Department performs a variety of financial aid job duties, including providing customer service to students and parents on the financial aid processes.
Assists with scanning paperwork and digital recording keep activities. Provides general administrative and clerical support to the Financial Aid Department.
Works with a diverse population of administrators, faculty, staff, students and the public. To perform this job successfully, an applicant must have a professional demeanor and excellent communication skills.
Essential Functions
- Assists students in person providing information with regards to Title IV and non-Title IV forms of financial assistance, including assisting students with the financial aid process.
- Assists with various reports on a regular basis.
- Provides clerical assistance in the administration of financial aid programs.
- Prepares and distributes information and materials, prepares routine correspondence and performs duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- Experience providing customer service
- Experience using computer and web based technology
