Field Technician

Our dynamic client prides themselves on serving the wastewater industry for over four decades and they are looking for a Field Technician to join their team in the Vancouver area.

Responsibilities :

• Install, assemble and setup monitoring equipment.
• Collect sewer flow and rainfall data.
• Operate and maintain monitors and gauges.
• Complete and maintain production documentation and reports.
• Ensure equipment and vehicles are maintained.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Follow safety specifications and maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements :

• Previous experience in a similar setting is considered an asset.
• Able to problem solve with a high attention to detail.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• A strong team player who can also work independently.
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to change.
• Must adhere to all safety procedures and complete all training requirements and certifications.
• Able to travel to sites and work overtime as required.
• Have a valid class 5 drivers license with clean abstract.
• Open to a criminal background check and routine drug & alcohol testing.
