We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ER Training Registered Nurses (RN) to join our healthcare team. As a Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting in the overall management of patient needs. This position is in acute care in different areas of the Fraser Health, including Abbotsford, Burnaby, Chilliwack, Delta, Langley and Mission. Shifts are 12 hour shifts, days / nights.
Duties :
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians, utilizing a trauma informed, patient centered approach
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Initial and ongoing assessments throughout treatment
Ensure that the nursing facility's policies, procedures, and standards are followed.
Complete medical records by federal, state, and local regulations.
Ensure a safe and sanitary environment by all local, state, and federal regulations.
Monitor and evaluate patient health status and progress.
Communicate with physicians and staff members to plan patient care.
Provide information regarding the status of patients to physicians or other care providers.
Qualifications :
- Valid RN license with BCCNM required
- Min. 1 yr ER experience
- CPR / BLS
- Immunization Schedule, including TB Test.
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
