  • What to expect

    As the Senior Manager, Health System Implementation reporting into VP, Clinical Implementations, you will play a key role in delivery and deployment of Verto's Digital Twin solution. This role is an exciting opportunity to work with health systems and enterprise health clients to drive system level change and transformation. You will provide value to the team by overseeing and managing complex programs, establishing credibility and confidence with our clients and building strong cross-functional relationships. This role will require the candidate to comfortably switch between roles including program management, change management, technology implementation and stakeholder and executive management.

    The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives and have a strong talent for project coordination and team management.

    Responsibilities

  • Program Management Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectivesDevelop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvementOversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reachedWork closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiativesManage program and project teams for optimal return on investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiativesWork with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the departmentLead on specific program or project management disciplines including scoping and planning, business case development, benefit and milestone tracking and issue / risk managementWork closely with sales and business development teams to ensure optimal value generation for each health system / enterprise client Act as a change agent / point of contact for clinical and project stakeholders for health system clients
  • People ManagementMonitor and adjust work plans to meet work priorities and objectives, prioritizing team work effectively, and escalate risks and mitigations as they ariseEnsure employees are engaged and able to work to their full scope and ability, providing supervision, coaching, performance / development goalsMaintain succession plans for all key employees Support the identification of new resources, onboarding, and monitoring of overall team's performance
  • Risk Management Tactfully address sensitive subject matter and awareness of situations which would require escalation and / or appropriate consultationManage and oversee risk and issues management processes, support project team in resolution and mitigation of risks and issues Effectively escalate risks and issues to leadership when needed, and track and support resolution
  • Project Management Identify stakeholders and manage relationships, risk and engagement to deliver the project's outcomes successfully. Provide leadership for project teams and motivate team members to achieve project goals, delivering against their responsibilities and project milestonesEstablish and maintain appropriate project governance for enterprise health system clients
  • Relationship Development and Maintenance Develop strong long-term client relationships and become recognized as a trusted advisorSupport engagement management, including developing fee estimates / budgets, managing budgets and billing clients Participate in business development activities, such as proposal writing and presentationsLead on specific program or project management disciplines scoping and planning, business case development, benefit and milestone tracking, issue / risk management
  • Qualifications, knowledge and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Health Administration, Life Sciences, or a healthcare delivery field
  • Preferred Master of Health Informatics degree or direct equivalent.
  • You have at least 5+ years experience in clinical, health informatics, or technology environments
  • 3+ years Experience managing an ICT technology implementation in any sector
  • Experience in managing stakeholders
  • Experience and comfort working with diverse stakeholders, including healthcare executives
  • Self-starter who thrives working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes
  • Experience in proposal writing an asset
  • Relevant skills
