Position Overview
TEAM Inc. in Canada is currently hiring CWB Level 1 and Level 2 Welding Inspectors to support ongoing and upcoming work with OPG-regulated facilities . This role supports safe, compliant, and high-quality execution of welding and fabrication activities within highly regulated industrial and nuclear environments.
Inspectors will play a critical role in verifying weld quality, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards, and supporting our clients’ asset integrity and reliability objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding inspections in accordance with CWB requirements , applicable codes, client specifications, and site procedures
- Verify welder qualifications, welding procedures, materials, and workmanship
- Review and complete inspection reports, documentation, and quality records
- Support quality control activities during fabrication, installation, repair, and maintenance work
- Interface professionally with clients, contractors, and site personnel
- Maintain strict adherence to safety, regulatory, and OPG site requirements
- Schedule is 4 days per week, Monday through Thursday X 10 hours per day.
- Possibility of day or night shift and there may be overtime required beyond the regular scheduled shifts.

Required Qualifications
CWB Welding Inspector Level 1 or Level 2 certification (mandatory)Active or eligible for OPG clearance (required)Canadian residency (mandatory)Must be a member in good standing of the QCCC (union position) and the terms of the collective agreement shall apply.Strong understanding of welding codes, standards, and quality control practicesAbility to work in regulated industrial or nuclear environmentsProficiency in inspection reporting and documentationPreferred Qualifications
Candidates based in or near the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Preference will be given to technicians who live local to OPG Pickering.Previous experience working at OPG or nuclear-regulated facilitiesExperience supporting outage, maintenance, or capital project workWhy Join TEAM
