About this role

We are recruiting for an eager Technical Systems Analyst / Programmer to join our Corporate IT team at our Burnaby office.

Here's how your role will strengthen our team.

The role will function in a multi-faceted role : Enterprise application configuration, development, technical troubleshooting, testing and enterprise application administration / support.

Your responsibilities

  • ERP system configuration, development, and technical troubleshooting
  • API Integration development, testing and support between ERP and other systems
  • Design, develop, and maintain Python and C# applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Work collaboratively with the IT team to manage stakeholder requests
  • Regularly update knowledge base and change management system, as well as document all necessary actions and system enhancements
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing codebase
  • Stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends

Your experience and skills

  • Degree in Computer Science or other relevant education
  • 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Python and C#
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
  • Experience with software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
  • Experience developing, configuring, and troubleshooting JD Edwards preferred
  • Experience with web development frameworks such as Django, Flask, ASP.NET, or .NET Core
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Familiar with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to foster positive productive professional relationships, with customer service approach
  • Able to solve problems and use sound judgment for decision making
  • Strong attention to detail

Salary range : $70,000-$90,000 per year plus a competitive total compensation package. Actual salary will be commensurate with experience, skills and overall match to the position offered.
