Randstad Canada is currently hiring for a client, who is one of the leading retailers in Canada.

This position involves unloading boxes from containers / trucks which would weigh between 2 and 25 lbs. The loads are not heavy, but the task is repetitive and timed.

That's the challenge of the job. You'll be using an electric pallet to move boxes. for those who don't know how it functions, dont worry we will give you the training.

Schedule :

Monday to Friday 7 : 30am to 3 : 30pm

Salary :

DAY : The first week of 37.5 hours is paid at $20.5 / hour.

After that, salary increases to $21.5 / hour

2 paid 15-minute breaks

30-minute unpaid lunch break

Responsibilities

The receiving clerk will, among other things :

• Unload product boxes from trucks (between 2 and 12lbs)
• Operate an electric pallet truck (on-the-job training)
• Meet deadlines
• Keep shipping and receiving logs
• Ensure incoming and outgoing products are in good condition
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization and safety
• Ensure seamless quality control of merchandise

Qualifications

Skills expected of an excellent goods receiving clerk :

• Warehouse or industrial experience
• Ability to walk with equipment and / or stand during shift
• Ability to repeat the same movement several times
• Ability to lift, carry, push and pull
• Ability to work at a fast pace
• Attention to detail and good time management
• Able to handle pressure
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking French OR English.
