Position
We are currently looking for a full-time, seasonal Lead Traffic Control Agent (TCA) to join our growing team in Moncton to lead local operations, support crews, and help build a strong presence in the region. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is responsible for overseeing field operations and plays a critical role in maintaining safe, efficient, and compliant job sites. Duties & Responsibilities
Oversee and support a group of Traffic Control Agents (TCAs) and their crews in the field.Receive daily work schedule via phone app and plan detailed traffic control solutions, in compliance with provincial traffic control regulations, based on customer needs and safe work practices.Prepare and hold site meetings / pre job meetings with staff.Set-up safe temporary workplaces using traffic cones, barrels and barricades etc.Complete detailed inspection reports for job sites and correct any deficiencies.Ensure a safe work environment in accordance with all policies and procedures.Complete and submit detailed safety and administrative paperwork.Training and mentorship of new field staff.Maintain traffic control devices and equipment.Traffic control duties as required.Requirements
3-5 years of traffic control experience.Valid TCP and TCA certification.Must have a valid driver's license.Reliable and punctual.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Effectively able to prioritize and multi-task.Must be able to show leadership and good decision-making abilities.Able to work outside in all weather conditions, often working long days.Comfortable working near vehicle traffic and heavy equipment.Required ability to lift up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods of time.We would like to thank all of those that apply; however only those selected for an interview will be notified.
